Crime, books, cheese
Hey subscribers! I hope you’re doing well. It’s getting cold and I’ve been working hard while trying to get a bit of house maintenance done. While I don’t have any new releases, I’m working on a number of projects and have something new in the works so I’m excited about what’s coming up.
I have had the privilege of doing a couple of events (in person even!). This week I was part of the Mystery in the Library series, a series of panels by writers of crime fiction and fact in libraries throughout NZ. If you’re in Aotearoa there are still a few left to go so check them out; there may be one near you. It was a really fun event to be part of with authors all writing very different things - from non-Fiction on Mount Eden prison to cosy knitting mysteries.
I also joined some of our Witchy crew at Featherston Booktown. We got to catch up with some people we knew, met some new ones, and some very kindly bought witchy books from us. Also (and very importantly) it allowed a trip to the specialist cheese shop on the way back home.
(That’s Mel, not me!)
And lastly, here’s a chance to get your hands on some excellent value science fiction. Check out the Space. Robots. SciFi. promo for some ebooks that are now just 99 cents.
